Our Puno yarn is a wonderfully soft blend of cotton and alpaca wool. The 70 percent GOTS-certified cotton, as well as the 30 percent alpaca wool, come from Peru, where the yarn is also spun for us.

We wanted to create a cotton yarn in different shades without having to dye the fibre. By combining it with undyed alpaca, we created a beautiful palette of subtle natural shades.

The blend of smooth cotton and fluffy alpaca make Puno a great all year round yarn that looks good knitted or crocheted. It has excellent stitch definition and can be used for any kind of textured stitch pattern. It is perfect for light tops and accessories like scarves and shawls It is so pleasingly soft it can be worn next to the skin.

Tip: It is advisable to always order enough yarn for your desired model to ensure you knit your entire project with yarn of the same dye batch. In case of doubt, please make a gauge sample immediately after receiving the yarn. In this way, you can estimate whether you have ordered sufficient quantity and, if necessary, reorder directly.

Weich, dicht, stabil. Angenehmere Haptik als reine BW, aber nicht so elastisch wie ein reines Wollgarn. Extrem gleichmässig gesponnen, mit viel Twist verzwirnt, keine dünnen Stellen oder Knoten. Ganz dezenter Halo. Fühlt sich an wie ein hochwertiges Kammgarn. Auch nach mehrmaligem Auftrennen kaum aufgeraut. Perfekt für Strukturmuster.

Habe das Garn im Rahmen des Teststricks zusammen mit de Suave verstrickt. Es lies sich richtig gut verstricken und der Pullover fühlt sich super an und wird sich auch gut tragen lassen, bin noch nicht ganz fertig damit. Besitze das Garn nochmal in einer anderen Farbe und freue mich schon drauf, es nochmal zu verarbeiten.

Bemerkenswert

Sieht auf den ersten Blick nicht beeindruckend aus, aber zwischen den Fingern, auf den Nadeln - weich, leicht gleitend auf den Nadeln, super zu tragen
